For 33 years, Mr. Utley represented longshore, marine terminal, shipyard workers and military support personnel at West Coast docks, piers, ports, and terminals, and at domestic and overseas military bases for personal injury claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act, and Defense Base Act. 

Since 2011, Mr. Utley has represented employers and carriers in state and federal courts with respect to such claims as well as the the protection and recovery of employer and carrier subrogation interests.
